The Rev. Dr. Kevin Sturm
Pastor
Fr. Kevin brings decades of ministry, pastoral care, and service to St. Peter’s, including years of service as a military chaplain. His ministry has taken him far beyond the walls of a church and alongside people during some of life’s most joyful and difficult moments.
He brings that experience to St. Peter’s with a simple pastoral commitment: to know people, care for them, serve the community, and build a church where everyone who walks through the door is treated with dignity and knows they are welcome.

“St. Peter’s was founded with a simple conviction: a church should be a place where people know they belong. A place where they are welcomed, known, cared for, and given opportunities to care for others.
We are building a community grounded in the Catholic tradition, but our doors are open to everyone. Whether you have practiced your faith all your life, have been away from the Church for years, are searching for something more, or simply need a community where you can find friendship and purpose, there is a place for you here.
My hope is that St. Peter’s becomes more than a place we gather on Sunday. I hope it becomes a place of worship and service, where neighbors help neighbors, people find community, and together we make Albany a little stronger, kinder, and more hopeful.”
